I purchased the two 24" stools for my husband and my son so we could all sit and look on line instead of them standing behind me.
They look expensive and they fit perfectly under our desk when not in use.
I would recommend them to anyone. Just make sure you order the right height. |

Very fast shipping - delivered a week ahead of schedule.
Good packaging - arrived via FedEx a few days after order - boxes in great shape and packaged well.
Worksmanship - seems ok - the wood is stained evenly and the craftsmanship is average or above (especially for the money)
Appearance - great - the stools look great and are really quite sturdy (the splay of the legs is adequate for stability)- and the feel of the fabric/pvc is good - it doesn't feel plastic-y or slippery to sit on, but more leather-like to the touch. There isn't a load of cushion on the seat, but it's enough for comfort. The tone of the wood is lighter than in the picture, but I have mission red oak furniture, so this worked out to my advantage as it matches quite nicely. The stools are much bigger width-wise than they appear they would be in the stock photo and are quite comfy to sit on - you don't feel like you'll fall off like you sometimes do on the backless stools.
I've seen similar stools that don't swivel selling for much more elsewhere so it seemed like a good deal. All in all - this was a very good buy and I am pleased and impressed as usual :o) |

| Product and packaging were fine. The only disappointment was when I walked in to a Target store a few days later and saw the same stools sold for much less. (And they weren't even on sale at Target.) Next time, I would wait for a Target sale and save! |

the original shipment was damaged. i notified both mfg and amazon that it was the results of VERY poor packaging at mfg facility. i was pleased with the replacement of item. i was impressed with the attention and speed with which this problem was resolved.

| I am very pleased with the bar stools. Since the walnut stain was a bit lighter than my other kitchen chairs, I stained them to match. They look great and were very reasonably priced!! |

| Recieved the stools in fine condition without any problems. I was worried based on previous reviews on what condition the stools would be in, but they look like new, so no complaints. No finishes problem, no troubles with the seat, all in all, a good buy. Normal shipping rates at amazon compared to other furniture stores charging more for delivery, so a good buy. They aren't $100/each stools or good enough for your local tavern, but for private home use, great addition to my kitchen island counter. |
Screws came loose at the bottom

| The stools look great but the screws came loose at the bottom within a month of purchase. We had to put new screws in at the bottom to reinforce them. Apart from that everything else was fine. |

| The stools are not as sturdy as I was hoping but for the money I guess they were a pretty good deal. Also I hadn't had them but one day and one of my children turned one over and the seat fell off. I had to take the top apart and rebolt it down it only had two screws in it unstead of four like it had holes for. |
